Australian Premier Working Dog Auction

The 28th Australian Premier Working Dog Auction will be held
Sunday 9th June, 2024.

The first Working Dog Auction was organised by the local Apex Club and held at the local saleyards in 1997. It resulted in a total turnover of $6,120.
In 2023 we sold 45 dogs which accumulates a total of 1,307 dogs sold over the last 27 years for a total value of $3,949,109.
Our online catalogue through AuctionsPlus was viewed 24,262 times and recorded 1,583 bids throughout the auction with 23 dogs successfully purchased from 157 online active bidders.

Letter of Introduction

Any PURCHASER wishing to charge a purchase to their Stock Agents account must provide a letter of introduction from the Agency Manager – by Thursday 6th June @ 5pm

  • Any prior arrangements that Purchasers make with Vendors on payment are not the responsibility of the Casterton Kelpie Association.

Southern Dog Transport

This year the 28th Australian Premier Working Dog Auction welcomes Southern Dog Transport,
who will be onsite to support Purchaser’s that buy dogs online, and need a reliable and professional option to get their dog home.
PLEASE REMEMBER the Casterton Kelpie Association takes no responsibility for dogs once purchased at Auction – it is the responsibility of the Purchasers
to make arrangements either with the Vendor or a Dog Transport company.
